Committee of Management
Palm Grove Preschool is overseen by a volunteer Management Committee made up of parents and community members. The committee is elected annually at our November AGM, and we encourage anyone who wants to contribute to get involved.

Committee Roles

President: Chairs meetings, oversees committee work, and represents the preschool.

Vice President: Assists the President.

Secretary: Handles administration, agendas, minutes, and correspondence; serves as Public Officer.

Treasurer: Co-authorises payments, works with the Administrator on financial reports.

Assistant Secretary: Manages required surveys and assists the Secretary.

Enrolment Officers (3 & 4-year-old): Manage enrolments for respective age groups.

HR Officer: Acts as staff liaison, handles recruitment, and staff evaluations.

Maintenance Officer: Oversees repairs and organises working bees.

Fundraising Coordinators: Plan term-based fundraising initiatives (up to 4 members).

Social Coordinators: Organise social events and parent meet-ups (2 members).

Marketing and Social Media Coordinator: Manages social media, website updates, flyers, billboards and newsletters.

Grants Officer: Supports the Administration Officer with grant applications.

General Committee Members: Support special projects and policy reviews.
