Celebrating 80 Years of Palm Grove Preschool

A community story, 80 years in the making.

Since 1946, Palm Grove Preschool has been a constant in the lives of local families, right here at 21 Palm Grove, Kilsyth.

For eight decades we have remained a standalone, volunteer-run kindergarten. No council backing, no corporate funding, just a community of parents, committee members and educators who have shown up for each other year after year.

Generations of children have taken their first steps into learning here. Many of today's parents and grandparents once sat in our rooms themselves, and some of our longest-serving educators have shaped the childhoods of entire families.

Everything we have built, from our outdoor spaces to our programs, has been made possible through fundraising and the generosity of this community.

As we celebrate 80 years, we want to thank everyone who has been part of our story, and invite you to join us in writing the next chapter.
